I've just spent the last 20 minutes or so looking through my gallery. Mostly, I was looking at my drawings. They aren't half bad, if you ask me.

However.

Recently I tried to draw something, and by recently I mean within the last few days, and I was epic fail at the simplest things. Things that I could already draw before hand, but I've taken note of the fact that I haven't really drawn anything in the past.. 3 or 4 months. And my "skills" weren't that sharp to begin with (not as sharp as I wanted), and I think I should start back from square one if I intend to make good on my drawings.

The approach was all wrong.. I was basically trying to go straight to the Olympics without warming up or training ahead of time. Setting my own personal expectations a bit too high for myself. Dare I say, I'm out of touch with my ability to draw. I need to start dating him again.. he wasn't the worst. We had a nice break, we saw other people, but I miss him lots.

So I'm going to take this slowly.. and practice drawing from the ground up. Maybe it will yield some new results.. and one day I'll be able to pwn this website with my Photoshopping+Drawing skills.. (the PS skills are yet to come as I am too broke to purchase it. Yet.)
